We are thrilled to announce that ZIVA GLOBAL C.I.C. is officially registered with the UK Government as a Community Interest Company (Company No: 17002394)! This is a monumental step forward for our community.
This achievement makes ZIVA the only regulated company in the Zimbabwean Diaspora space dedicated to supporting our members through Chema, Other Hardship through discretionary grants.

ZIVA — Zimbabwe Voluntary Association — is a mutual aid and social support group created specifically to ease the burden of life in the UK for Zimbabweans. While many groups focus solely on funeral support, we harness the collective power of "more hands" to achieve wider benefits for our entire community.
We currently operate three thriving branches across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire, with exciting plans for national expansion. This WhatsApp platform is the official channel for ZIVA Leicestershire.

Absolutely! You're welcome to join other Chema groups, just as you might hold multiple insurance policies. ZIVA membership doesn't restrict your choices—we simply ask that you meet our terms to maintain your benefits with us.

Leicestershire Residents
This group is designed for those currently living in Leicestershire. Our local focus ensures we can provide meaningful, hands-on support to our immediate community members.
Alumni Members Welcome
Life happens, and sometimes we need to relocate for work or personal reasons. If you've moved away from Leicestershire but remain in the UK, you're welcome to stay as an "Alumni Member" with continued benefits.
You will only be removed from the group if you leave the UK entirely. Otherwise, you remain part of our ZIVA family.

Gold Member Recognition: When we lose a Gold member, all members contribute a minimum of £10 in recognition of their loyalty. We expect to raise over £5,000 for Gold member funerals, providing substantial support to grieving families.

Senior Protection
Our retired members are never asked for the £10 Gold contribution. They remain on the £2 minimum, even for Gold funerals. We honor their years of contribution with dignity and respect.
Hardship Support
Facing temporary financial difficulties? We offer special Admin-granted terms to help you through tough times. Speak with us confidentially to create a workable plan so you don't lose your benefits.

ZIVA is the only group committed to complete financial transparency. We believe you deserve to see exactly where every pound goes.
Full Bank Statements
We share complete bank statements showing all member payments and payouts to grieving families. No hidden fees, no surprises—just honest accounting.
Digital Receipts
Every bereaved family provides a "thank you" video confirming the exact amount received, which matches our bank statements perfectly.
Community-Based Grants
These are genuine community grants reflecting our generosity, not insurance payouts. Amounts may vary based on membership and participation.

Membership Rules
Voluntary Participation With Clear Guidelines
We are a voluntary club with fair rules. Think of it like a community center—visiting is voluntary, but you must respect the guidelines to remain a member in good standing.
Will I Lose Benefits By Joining Other Groups?
No. As long as you meet ZIVA's terms, you will not suffer any loss of benefits. Your participation in other groups is your personal choice.
Maintaining Your Status
If a Gold or Silver member misses a payment, they return to "start date" status. For example, a Gold member becomes Silver but returns to Gold after two consecutive payments (including arrears). This ensures fairness for everyone.
You'll Never Be Kicked Out
Contributing the £2 or £10 is voluntary. If you choose not to pay, you won't be removed from the WhatsApp group—your status simply changes. You're always loved and supported at ZIVA; you choose your level of help through your level of participation.
Conduct Standards
Admins reserve the right to determine unfair usage or behavior. Serious misconduct may result in suspension of association for up to 10 years.
Our Robust Verification Process
Documentation Required
We require government ID, two proofs of residence, and other standard documents to protect our community.
Family-Led Verification
ZIVA Admins never "scout" for funerals. We wait to be contacted by an actual family member, who must provide proof of their relationship to the deceased.
GDPR Compliant
Your privacy and data security are paramount. We follow all UK data protection regulations.
